3rd Reunion was arranged in Hyderabad, city of Pearls, and this time the location for the entire stay was Veeru’s managed Hotel “Trance Greenfields Resort & Convention Centre”. The organizers this time were Jaisurya, Veeru, Dwarka, Anand, and Archana. The transportation arrangements were meticulously arranged with great reception and a welcome surprise of spacious rooms and landscaped gardens. Every day were surprised by give-aways, courtesy the “Trance Hotels”, like T-shirts, etc. The first night we had a Hyderabadi dinner at the Trance Greenfields Resort and tasted some traditional Hyderabadi Biryani which was cooked under the supervision of Nawab Mohammad Alam Khan. We had danced on DJ music and the special surprise was the dance by the young ladies of the batch on the number “Lamborghini”. Dwarka and Usha made good hosts and arranged a beautiful South Indian traditional lunch at their home. Enroute to Falaknuma we were taken to Navneet and Vinita Pittie’ haveli for a unique hi-tea and a beautiful talk.
The gala dinner at the Taj Falaknuma Palace was clearly the highlight as Veeru got us a very special offer and the GM and his entire team went out of their way to surprise us at every step, with beautifying dinner, Qawwali’s and finally a sit-down dinner at 101 table which was a luxurious meal and most memorable experience. The traditional attire of all friends was to be seen as all men and women looked very elegant and classy. The 3rd day was a free day and all friends went out shopping and later in the evening, we were taken for the “Sound & Light show” at the Golconda Fort, followed by a Chinese dinner at the poolside gardens at Taj Krishna. All of us danced at the live music, by a female singer, courtesy Taj Krishna. The giveaway Gifts and souvenirs were by Rajiv Nayan, BK Sakena, Mr. Anand Saxena, and others.
